My wife Ireen and I live in a gorgeous section of the country - western New Hampshire - in the little town of Plainfield. It sits just across the Connecticut River facing the subject of many of my paintings - Mt. Ascutney. Our home and studio are on 16 acres of woods, lawns and gardens, which also provide settings for many of my paintings. During the fall and winter semesters I teach at a great Community College in Claremont, NH. I have taken the spring and summer semesters off for the last 3 years to concentrate on my painting. I enjoy painting a variety of scenes and have a hard time deciding just what I enjoy painting the most. As you can see from the various scenes in the paintings on this web site, I paint many different types of pictures. Right now I am "into" painting public buildings, churches, libraries, bandstands, etc. I have also done dozens of customized jobs - of people's homes, community buildings, etc. I like to paint a series of paintings on the same theme, and, with the series, I create either card packages or a custom framed combination.
